Types of Funds

Growth Fund, Conservative Fund, what does it all mean?

KiwiSaver providers have different types of funds such as Conservative, Moderate, Balanced, Growth, etc. The difference in these funds is the type of assets they invest in. These different types of investments broadly fall into Stocks and Bonds.

By using an example of your very smart friend (you know who they are!) this video explains what Stocks and Bonds are, and how that applies to your KiwiSaver funds.

Once you know the different types of options, the next step is to figure out what type of fund you should be in.

For that, you need to consider various factors such as the amount of money required to achieve your goals, your time frame, and your tolerance and capacity for the ups and downs of the stock market.  Things like having KiwiSaver self employed or through your employer make no difference as to what your options are or decision making.

But you don’t have to do this alone. If you’re wondering, how exactly do I find my KiwiSaver solution that is right for me, National Capital is here to help. Therefore, you can have one less money worry.

Are you ready for National Capital to help you on the first step to being financially secure?
