Written by

KiwiWealth KiwiSaver Scheme is the 5th largest KiwiSaver scheme in New Zealand with approximately $7 billion in funds under management. They actively manage their investment funds as well as adopting a responsible investing approach to their investments. This includes identifying opportunities and voting for positive change on ESG issues through their investment selection. This provider excludes controversial and sensitive industries from their investments.

Throughout May 2022, both the US Federal Reserve and the Reserve Bank of New Zealand increased their overnight interest by 0.50% in May with another two back-to-back 0.50% hikes are also expected in the upcoming months to fight the record-high inflation levels. The war in Ukraine also continues to rage on, with no signs of resolution on the horizon and eventually further pushing up prices across a few key commodities.
