Using the most recent returns and fund update reports, we will examine Medical Assurances Society (MAS) recent KiwiSaver Performance.

Medical Assurance Society (MAS) is a mutual society that is owned by its members. With over 15,000 members in its KiwiSaver Scheme, more than 80% of medical professionals are insured with MAS. They offer a range of seven KiwiSaver Funds, from a lower-risk Cash fund to higher-risk growth funds such as Growth, Aggressive, and Global Equities. What sets MAS apart is that they also provide a range of insurance products, including motor, house, contents, business, life, and health insurance. Across all of its funds, MAS uses active investment management to ensure responsible investing. Each of its funds is certified by the Responsible Investment Association Australasia (RIAA), and MAS is also a signatory to the Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI) to help protect the health of the planet.

The MAS KiwiSaver has made headlines for its recent launch of new tools and its recognition for responsible investing. Two digital tools were introduced by MAS – the Fund Finder and the KiwiSaver Retirement Calculator. The Fund Finder helps investors determine which fund best fits their needs, while the KiwiSaver Retirement Calculator allows investors to see how their current decisions could affect their income during retirement. Moreover, the MAS KiwiSaver scheme has been acknowledged for its responsible investment approach. It has been designated as ‘Mindful’ by ethical investment charity ‘Mindful Money’, joining a select few schemes in Aotearoa New Zealand. This reflects MAS’s dedication to making a positive impact through its investment strategies.

the short term. It is suitable for investors who require an investment with very low volatility.
